This September, Heart of the Shires will be looking a little different… because the scarecrows are moving in!
Over three days you’ll be able to spot a whole host of wonderfully named characters: Frayboggards, Worricows, Tattie Bogles, and even Gallybaggers hiding in plain sight around the historic site. Each one is a little different, each with its own personality, and all waiting to be discovered. ❤️
It’s a free event, fun for all ages, and a perfect excuse to explore the corners of Heart of the Shires.
Take a stroll, see how many you can find, and enjoy a seasonal celebration with a playful twist. Don’t forget to bring your camera, these scarecrows don’t mind posing for a picture! 😆

Our eatery is surrounded by beautiful countryside and some amazing retail shops. We are in the middle of England, within the Heart of the Shires. There is an abundance of FREE parking, including disabled parking bays.
